Generate monthly phone bills for
your customers
The emiera Billing Solution is designed to provide Telephone Service Providers with an in-house, easy to administer, monthly customer billing solution. Many Telephone Service Providers resell the services of several UK Telecoms Carriers. The Billing Solution enables Service Providers to take basic call records from each carrier and configure individual call rates and fixed charges to each call as required by their business. The emiera Billing Solution produces monthly customer telephone bills or statements, by taking basic call details, assigning calls to the correct customers and calculating individual call charges. Although it is referred to as a Billing Solution, it is capable of the automatic production of statements, i.e. where a customer or Associate is in credit, a statement is produced instead of a bill, to inform the customer of their credit balance. Bills and statements can be printed, saved to excel file format or snapshot file format for delivery to the customer. To enable call details and costs to be calculated, the appropriate Call Detail Records (CDR) from each carrier must be input into the Billing Solution. These records are then automatically parsed into a common format, and stored in the Billing Solution database.Parsed files from the database are used by the Solution to generate customer bills, statements and reports. The Billing Solution produces bills, statements and reports for both incoming and outgoing telephone traffic. In addition, the Billing Solution can generate Call Analysis reports for each customer. These reports have been designed to augment each invoice or statement to be sent to each customer, and are described opposite.

Each report consists of both tabular information and colour coded graphical details, such as bar graphs and pie charts in order to present the data in a useful and informative format. Management reports are also provided to enable the Billing Application user to evaluate the performance of each account and the accuracy of the CDR records supplied by each carrier. The product is aimed at small to medium sized Telephone Service Providers who currently outsource their telephone bill generation. The Billing Application can be shown to produce a return on investment, typically within 6 months. Additionally, the Billing Application provides the buyer with features, such as graphical and tabular reports, that enhances the service offered to their customers. Such reports are used by customers to understand, plan and manage their telephone traffic.
